1985
The beginning
July 8, 1985
On this date, Kyly Indústria Têxtil was founded in the city of Blumenau, a great dream idealized by the Martins family.
It was the beginning of the success story of a company that grows every year based on ethics, respect and excellence.
It all started with the purchase of two used looms, affectionately called Ligeirinha and Tartaruga. With the aim of weaving knitwear and selling it to small clothing manufacturers, the knitwear shop was set up in the garage of the home of Salézio and Claudete Martins.
1987
With the increase in demand came the need for a larger space, transferring the operation to Pomerode.
The first 540 m² warehouse opened on July 7, 1987.
1989
Started making clothes at its headquarters in Pomerode, with its main customer located in Rio de Janeiro.
1991
Installation of the company's own dyeing plant and the first branch located in Rodeio - Santa Catarina.
That same year, sales began for major magazines such as Mesbla, Lojas Americanas, Riachuelo, Marisa and Walmart.

Start of the Kyly brand collections.
1997
Start of licensed products with Turma da Xuxinha, Castelo Rá-Tim-Bum, Eliana and Cocoricó.

Expansion of facilities in Pomerode.

Investments
Concern about the quality of its products led the company to invest heavily in new machinery.

Inauguration of the Mundo Encantado Kyly store in Pomerode, now the Factory Outlet Store attached to the factory.

Launch of the Milon brand, initially developed to serve the foreign market.

Consolidation of companies and brands. Creation of the Kyly Group.

Construction of the industrial condominium with more than 8,000 m². Today the Fio Puro Spinning Mill is located there.

Opening of the first Milon store, in Joinville – Santa Catarina.
Inauguration of the Mundo Encantado Kyly store in Blumenau, now the Factory Outlet Store.

Beginning of the Jonas Project with the expansion of the industrial park and construction of the administrative building.
